There's some great writing out right now about Uranus in Aries. Here are some personal favorite highlights with synopses and quotes! Enjoy and awaken. :)

This is Part ONE. If you'd like to read Part TWO, it's right over HERE.

Kathy Biehl, It’s Heeeeeeeere! Uranus at 0 Aries.

Along with a succinct explanation of the significance of this transit worldwide, Kathy gives you a Sun-sign horoscope for the Uranus Ingress. Sagittarians like myself, prepare for some unexpected fun and romance! I'm already feeling this one, and it's nice. :)

"The environmental devastation was a Uranian message for the memory books: In the face of nature, geopolitical borders are irrelevant. We are all inhabitants of one fragile planet, and what happens in one part of it sends actual shockwaves into the other parts." --Kathy Biehl

Mandi Lockley, Energy Rush ~ Uranus in Aries at the Aries Point

Mandi's piece is a great summation of all the recent planetary motion around the critical degrees.

"We have had a whole bunch of planets at the AP over the last couple of years… Pluto in Capricorn, Saturn in Libra, Jupiter in Aries and Uranus in Aries. These planets, forming a moving cardinal t-square, symbolize huge changes and shifts in consciousness which are clearly reflected in world events."--Mandi Lockley

Julie Demboski, What Do We Feel Now?

I always love Julie Demboski's writing. Here she expresses the kind of uncertainty and devastation that we're all feeling right now (if we're paying any attention). What can the study of astrology contribute, she asks, to the various crises and dramatic changes taking place in the world today?

"I just know that we must do our very best as individuals, and call forward our faith, no matter what it’s placed in–and my thought is that, starting with Uranus in Aries, we might want to translate that placement as ‘The Group (Uranus) Is One (Aries)’ and live in accord with this new age we’ve entered." --Julie Demboski

Priya Kale, Uranus in Aries: 2011 - 2018 | Time to Wake Up!

Here Priya looks at the mundane chart for the moment of Uranus' 2011 ingress into Aries, using it as a sort of blueprint for the significance of this ingress. I think her interpretation of the ingress is insightful both intellectually and spiritually, and I like using mundane charts in this way. (I like to do the same for New and Full Moon charts: the chart shows us the map of planetary energy for that part of the moon cycle).

"A look at the chart suggests solidarity and a potentially rather fortuitous and benevolent period in spite of major changes; in some cases upheaval, with the feeling of being uprooted and stranded." --Priya Kale

Leah Whitehorse,
Uranus in Aries – Flashes

I find Leah's writing to be very poetic. We astro-bloggers too often fall back on the same phrasing (Pluto is intense, Uranus is awakening) to get our points across, but Leah manages to use language in its fullest capacity to pull out the meaning of a transit, etc. This particular article is mostly Leah's personal experience of this Uranian time--but I find it a fascinating read. I had a client recently who was buzzing with Uranus energy in the same way that Leah describes. I don't know that I really feel Uranus quite as intensely... but reading her poetic explanations of what a strong Uranus experience feels like does make me feel like I can draw Uranus energy into me more fully. We'll say I'm employing this article as a tool for visualization. ;) The following quote will give you a good idea of the beautiful writing you'll find in the full entry:

"I’m swimming up from the depths with Uranus, remembering a moment in time when my love took me out onto a lake in a rowing boat. The brilliant stars shone on the water and there were moments when it was as if we were floating in space. The stars both ascending and descending, constellations reflected within and without. The milky way rippled across the heavens and I felt tall as a giant, tiny as an ant, loved beyond measure." --Leah Whitehorse
